Day 1

Inka Avalanche Itinerary

We will move from the city of Cusco to the Inca avalanche, along the way we will set up the Misminay play station route which is very fluid and playful, at the end of the descent we continue the transfer to the Malaga pass 4300 m near the great snow-capped Wakaywillca 5750 m, the first part of the trail goes along a wide and fluid Inca trail that has some ramps drops and natural wallrides - then connects with a fast and technical single track that crosses the road on some occasions, it also has long and technical rock garden areas, passing through small streams that often flood the path adding more fun to the descent, at the end of this great route we head to Ollantaytambo to enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon we headed towards Pumamarka to set up another very fun routethis goes along an old Inca road that is very fluid, passing over the thousand Inca platforms, the route ends with a small urban DH that passes through the narrow streets until we reach the Plaza de Ollanta where we will enjoy the sunset and thus return to Cusco.

Recommendations

Required level:
This tour is recommended for intermediate to advanced riders. The route includes technical single tracks, rock gardens, road crossings and wetlands.

Previous acclimatization:
The exit reaches 4,300 m (Abra Málaga). It is recommended to spend at least 1–2 days in Cusco before the tour for adequate acclimatization to altitude.
