We will explore some of the most challenging trails in Cusco, traveling ancient Inca trails with long sections of stands and extensive technical rock gardens. We start above 4,200 meters of altitude, surrounded by a spectacular landscape with views of snow-capped mountains and the entire city from a unique perspective.
This is an intense day, ideal for advanced riders looking for real adrenaline in the high mountains.
Itinerary
Tour Itinerary
We start the day with a private transfer of approximately 1 hour to Cerro Picol (4,200 m). From this point we will enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the city before beginning the descent through:
1️ Shepherd's Route
A thin, fast trail that connects to the crest of the mountain. Here the terrain becomes more technical, with steep slopes and loose soil, and then closes with a fluid and fun section of forest.
2️ Huaccoto Hard Line
A more technical and demanding line, with a predominance of long rock gardens, steep areas and constant technical sections. It ends with a stretch of forest that allows you to release brakes and enjoy the flow.
After these two routes, we will pause to enjoy a delicious local lunch before continuing the adventure.
3️ The Witcher (4,200 m)
Located at the other end of the city, this route begins with an enduro style on the crest of the mountain, and then transforms into a DH-type descent along an old Inca trail with numerous steps, sharp curves and fast, fluid sections.
The day ends in a small square where we celebrate the day with some ice-cold beers before returning to the hotel.
A truly epic day of MTB in the Andes.
