Lamay is a small town in the Sacred Valley, famous for its traditional cuisine, especially the delicious guinea pig al palo.
But in addition to its food, Lamay is a real hotspot for MTB. In this small valley there are around six epic routes, and we have selected the three best to enjoy a full day of flow, technique and adrenaline in the mountains.
Itinerary
Tour Itinerary
After a good breakfast and with all the equipment ready, we headed towards Lamay to set up the routes:
- Zapacto
- Huancco
- Huayllafara
These lines are long, varied and extremely fun. They combine rock gardens, ridge lines, Inca stands and very fluid sections from start to finish.
At noon we will enjoy a typical lunch to recharge our batteries before continuing down paths that cross small villages of shepherds and farmers. During the descent we will find more sections of Inca stands until we reach the main square of Lamay.
Returning to Cusco, there is the option of closing the day with an additional urban DH.
An ideal tour for riders looking for continuous flow, spectacular views and an authentic experience in the Sacred Valley.
