Itinerary

Day 1

Itinerary

We begin with pick-up from the hotel and head towards Chinchero, where we will learn about the traditional process of making handmade textiles with alpaca fiber. The women of Chinchero are recognized as some of the best weavers of the Andes.

Then we moved to Cruzpata to begin the bicycle adventure. We will pedal along a dirt road that crosses crop fields, farms and the beautiful lagoon of Laguna de Huaypo, until we reach the town of Maras, where we will enjoy a snack.

We continue along a narrower and more fun path that takes us to the impressive Salineras de Maras. We will descend by bicycle from the top to the bottom of the complex, ending on the banks of the river in Urubamba, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch.
